Manifesto

Taste of Leeds is Leeds’ only editorial website devoted simply to eating (and drinking) out.

Our manifesto is simple – we recommend good food and great places to visit in Leeds. As part of the Taste of Leeds launch, we looked at what our audience has enjoyed most in our 10 year history, and discovered that our simple ‘Taste Top’ charts were the most popular reads. We think – and we hope you agree – that expertly curated lists of the most magnificent food and drink in the region are one of the most fun and engaging ways we can cover food and drink. In short, they are our best feature, our raison d’etre, so we’ve given them top billing on our new site.

As you get to know Taste of Leeds, you’ll find that one main list is updated every month, with new lists being created on a regular basis to reflect the city’s changing passions – the best pubs, fine coffees and brunches will all get a look in over the coming months. We’ve also designed the site to work brilliantly on your mobile device, so come and see us before deciding where to eat next.

Taste of Leeds is run by Edge Street Live, the team behind Manchester’s multi-award-winning Food and Drink Festival and Taste of Manchester. The site is edited by Neil Sowerby and designed and digitally facilitated by Nick Day.
